On Tuesday, June 19, Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker announced a bike share program would be making its debut in SLC in spring, 2013. The innovative system works like a “RedBox” and allows residents and visitors affordable access to easy, fun-to-ride bikes for short trips within the central business district.
